Hi..I am student of ekology and I need help about breeding Tetrao urogallus for reintroduction in habitat. I need help about incubation of eggs and feeding chickens - the composition of food through the stages of development. Not available to me reading about nutrition in captivity and I ask your help. I am also little data on diseases and treatment chicks and adult birds. I sincerely hope that with your help I will avoid the beginners mistakes and the failure of the project. Every assistance and advice are welcome. We sincerely appreciate your help... Dragan

Alistair - great site!
Thanks for all the info, pics and film.
I run a young pointer and have just started getting really interested in Grouse husbandry, through meeting and beginning to help a head keeper.
Nice to see the rarer (and more common) birds kept well and bred for release.
Good Luck! Iain

love the site, myself and the children love the grouse, they have never seen any as where we are there are only pheasant & partridge released for shoots and some wild. we keep some game and hope to add grouse one day.
good luck for the future
